The society that we live in today

Hey dear readers.

Today, I'm gonna blog about the most recent new movie

''CHAPPIE''.

Why this movie?

Simply because it reflects on US, THE SOCIETY THAT WE LIVE IN NOW.

For those who have watched this movie, you guys will know what I mean. For those who has not, I strongly encouraged you guys to watch it. I'm not trying to promote this movie but I personally feel that this movie can be a great transparent example of the environment/world/society we all are struggling to live in now.

This is one of the sentences that ''Chappie'' said to his Creator that caught my attention :

'I dont wanna die, I want to live'.

While the ''Dad's'' sentences to Chappie : 'If you wanna survive, you must fight'.

In very basic summary, this movie is about a newborn robot that has emotions and can think for itself. Its a very innocent object that seeks for love, care, attention and to be guided, taught along its way of maturing itself. ''Chappie'' is exactly like us all.

We're all once upon a time innocent human beings until as we grew up, knew the harsh truth about our damn lives and trying to survive in this cruel and unfair world. We were young, too innocent & naive, so people bully us just like how the people threw stuff on ''Chappie" when it was left alone on the streets

I wanted to cry so badly in the cinema when I saw this part. It was really hurtful. Chappie begged not to be hurt. It was afraid, felt insecure, just wanted to feel the sense of belonging but they had to do this to him. And then Thank God there's gps installed in his system and so he managed to find his own way back to where his ''Mom'' is and that he wants to be with dearly.

Although it's just a robot, but because it has its own emotions and a mind of its own, therefore, the ''Mom'' felt a connection with Chappie and she loves Chappie so much. Even started to treat Chappie like her own child. Read bedtime stories and gave Chappie a tight hug before it sleeps. It is really touching when you see the society ''perceived'' this kinda people as ''bad guys'' but they actually do have a loving heart as well. They are actually good people but the society are too judgmental and they always only observed things from the ''surface'' and spread rumors so fast.

Watching this movie really touched my heart. It is so true. Whatever your kids are exposed to, they'll tend to follow because every child wants a role model to look up to, admire, follow. Although its just a movie that Chappie watches cartoon and trying to follow their actions or when the Creator gave Chappie its own book to read, Chappie was more than happy and excited to even know that it owns a book. We were all exactly like Chappie when we were young. Just that we were too young to look into the mirror and to realized what we were like back then, and then shit happens, we get betrayed, soft-hearted people taken for granted, people deceiving us because of greed towards money, power, fame, jealousy cause other people's work are more noticeable than yours and so much more side factors.

Until this very day, when his ''Dad'' actually tell him ''if you wanna live, you must fight''

At first, I really dislike his ''Dad'' because he just wanted to use Chappie to help them get more money and so that he could pay off his debts to the other people but in the very end, he, the Creator and Chappie combined forces and help one another and ended up, it is one of the police in there who is the bad guy just because he wanted his very own ''robot'' to be used in the police firm and he got jealous with his colleague's work.

So again, WHY I'm blogging about this?
I just want you readers to think deep.

In whatever situation your in, I know there are tons of shits happening in your life right now. Everyday people talking about life is so meaningless & feels lifeless. Or it is impossible to live in this world if all you have is sincerity and honesty along with a straight forward attitude. I feel you people. Too innocent & naive, people take you for granted, cheat your money. Use you for their personal benefits and when you got nothing left to offer them, they dump you.

And therefore, some people turn so cold, becoming the best liars, cheaters and the list goes on cause as you grow up, life has taught you that in order to ''survive'', it has gotta be that way & when you actually follow that way, things work out for you.

I'm not encouraging anyone to continue doing this if you are already doing it but I just wanna say that each and everyone of us has something that we wanna fight for, we're all struggling to live as well.

We all have our own problems to face with everyday. So why not spread more love than hatred?
It is very normal to feel jealous over someone's beauty, wealth, success etc but is it really worth it to try to bring them down and then indirectly, to make yourself feel good? Why not admire them instead and use them as a motivational tool to push yourself further? Nothing in this world has to be always about the negativity.

Why not give more encouragement, support, love & care?
And to those who RECEIVES all that why not show some appreciation, gratitude? Say Thank you, Please or I'm sorry when you actually do something wrong? All this small little things will make a BIG difference to the society down the road. What more for our future generations.

And I would really love to hear some feedback about this post? To understand different people's point of view and to talk about this. I believe many of you out there has something or tons to say but you guys just couldn't be bothered anymore or some are too shy, dare not speak out or some are afraid to be judged for their opinion and so now, I'm here to say that I'm none of those. To be able to received some feedback would mean a lot to me.

Thank you. Yours sincerely, Emma.
